Home Page

Hello and Welcome,

You have found the Home Page of the Appalachian Professional Tracking Group (APTG).  If this is your first visit then I recommend you look at the Our Story page to learn more about us, our Mission Statement and the organizational structure of APTG.  The FAQ page is also a great place to visit to learn more about us.

Six APTG members just returned from an excellent class with the Cowley County Trackers in Kansas.  It was very exciting to see the CCT & APTG trackers hit the ground and begin working in a seamless fashion. This ability goes to the professionalism found in both teams as well as the strict adherence both teams demonstrate in regards to the JHPTS methodology.  It is only when organizations such as CCT and APTG practice dedication to a single methodology and tracking standard can this type of cohesion exist with trackers who have previously never had the opportunity to track together.

Our Law Enforcement Only class to be held 8-10 June in Winchester, VA is filling up.  Those active Virginia law enforcement officers who wish to attend the course should contact Investigator Baker as soon as possible to register.

APTG will be teaching another law enforcement class at the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy (RRCJA) in Middletown, Virginia on 22-24 June.  LEO who are interested may contact us or the RRCJA for more information.

We are always interested in talking with those who share our passion for tracking.   We are an organization focused on the mission.  I recommend you read the FAQ’s and then consider attending one of our In-House training sessions.

Thanks for visiting with us today.
