The Appalachian Professional Tracking Group (APTG) is a public charity, incorporated in Virginia and is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  

APTG does not charge for our services.  We are 100% volunteer.  Our funding comes from members dues and donations.  (APTG does charge a nominal administrative fee per student to off-set costs associated with training.)

Like any corporation APTG has expenses.  This website, supplies, corporate taxes and fees, team patches, dispatch services, etc..  These costs can run into thousands of dollars annually and must be paid for via donations.  No board or team member receives payment for services from APTG.  We are 100% volunteer. 

Please consider a tax deductible donation to APTG.  Your donation will fund tracking training that may save a life one day or provide assistance in solving a major crime.
