APTG members are highly dedicated to tracking training.  APTG membership includes a significant number of trackers in training positions in the JHPTS program.  The following is a list of personnel and their JHPTS Training designations:

July 27-29, 3rd Qtr, In-House, GW National Forest near Luray

October 19th - 21st, JHPTS Class at James River State Park (Date Change)

December 7-9th, 4th Qtr In-House, Ivy Creek in Charlottesville, VA 

All APTG training requires registration.  Please visit our FAQ/Forms page to download the registration form.  Email the form to the POC identified in the training announcement you wish to attend.  

All APTG training qualifies as JHPTS In-House training.  APTG assesses a $20 administrative fee to all non-APTG members attending training.  This fee is payable once the student arrives at the training site via cash or check.  Students are solely responsible for all their own meals and lodging.   Some training sites offer limited accommodations at no charge.  All information of this nature is covered in the Course Announcement Sheet.  When a Course Announcement Sheet is created it will be posted below.  You can download the sheet and see what will be required to attend the class, where the class is located, what the main content of the class will be, etc.
